Since students will frequently be outside, and to reduce the need for students to change in the locker rooms before PE, the Dress Code is a combination of our typical dress with an option for athletic dress. Students should dress appropriately for the weather in clothing that is neat, clean, and in good repair.
Trips & Gatherings
Trips and off-campus excursions are actively being planned for the fall, with the first one being Camp Caribou for grades 7 & 8 on the second week of school.
Early Childhood - Grade 1 will eat lunch “family style” in their classrooms. There will be no order form this year.
Lunch will be served in the Servery, to be enjoyed in the Commons or outdoors in the following rotation:
Grades 2 - 4
Grades 5 & 6
Grades 7 & 8
When eating in the Commons, students’ seats will be assigned
Sanitation routines and protocols will be followed.
Before School Care
Initially, there will be no Before School; we will review this decision as we monitor the Delta variant
After School Programming
Care is available until 5:00 p.m. every day.
Registration is required; due to health protocols, drop-in cannot be accommodated.
We will not have Enrichment classes in the fall as the mixing of all EC - Grade 8 students presents too many health challenges..
Parent & Visitor Policy
Parents are invited to attend outdoor events, including outdoor School Meeting. For pre-scheduled appointments, parents should wait in the lobby for an employee to accompany them to the meeting location. Masks are required for all visitors.
Tryouts for seventh and eighth graders begin on Wednesday, September 1 and will continue on September 2. Soccer and field hockey will be offered to all seventh and eighth-grade students who have not been granted an athletic exemption.
