Arrival and Dismissal Procedures on Conference Days

During Parent/Teacher Conference days, much of our population will still be on campus for Auxiliary Programming. To provide the safest experience possible for the students and teachers, we are asking that families maintain our safety protocols related to our doors on these two days.

If you are entering the building for a conference or to pick up your child early from Auxiliary Programming, please park and come through the front door. Except for the noon and 4:00 p.m. dismissal times on 11/3, the back door under the Portico will remain locked and Dan Wise Way will be closed.

All families taking advantage of drop-in coverage are asked to enter and exit through the front door, walk students to and from the library, and sign students in and out.

All families picking up at 4:00 p.m. on November 3rd can follow the below pick up procedures:

  • Families whose students are solely in the Lower school can use Dan Wise Way and pick up in the car line under the Portico at 4:00 p.m.

  • Families with students in just Upper school or “Crossover families” (families with both Upper and Lower school students) can pick up their children via the car line on the Courtyard at 4:00 p.m.

  • If you want to pick up your child prior to 4:00 p.m., please see Alicia at the front desk and she will radio to the team who will get your child(ren) to you in the lobby.

  • Students staying until 6:00 p.m. for the movie will be taken by staff from this half-day program to the 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. programming in the library. We ask that families enter through the front door and come to the library to pick up their children during or after this programming.

Thank you for helping us prioritize safety!
