After School Enrichment

What it is: Our After School Enrichment classes are a variety of high-quality After School classes related to the arts, STEM, sports, and literacy. These courses are taught by Brookwood staff, Brookwood parents, or outside vendors with expertise in a particular area.

Dates:

  • With few exceptions, the courses align with the session dates listed below. Any outliers will be noted in each season’s Enrichment catalog. Courses operate on a set day of the week for 8 - 12 weeks at a time.

    • Fall Session: 9/19/22 - 12/15/22

    • Winter Session: 1/4/23 - 3/10/23

    • Spring Session: 3/27 - 6/9/23

  • Please note, while some classes will repeat, most offerings in one season will not be offered in subsequent seasons within that school year.

Location: Various indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the campus

Dismissal procedures:

  • Since students in Enrichment are also required to be registered in regular After School, the dismissal procedures are the same. Please see those details above.

Important policies to note:

  • Students must be registered for regular After School on the days they attend an After School Enrichment class, as they will integrate into the regular After School program before and after their Enrichment class. If you need to change your child’s enrollment with regular After School, please contact the Director of Auxiliary Programs, Kyla McMahon.

  • Pre-registration for Enrichment is required and there is an additional fee to attend these classes as noted in the Enrichment Catalog. You may register your child for these courses via various Google Form links embedded in the Enrichment Catalog.

  • Due to minimum and maximum enrollment constraints, enrollment for Enrichment classes are finalized upon the submission of each Google Form and cannot be changed at any point - including right after submission, before the course starts, or during the session.

  • If a class doesn't hit its minimum enrollment, the course will be canceled and families will be notified.

How to join:

You will find Google Form links embedded in the Fall 2022 Enrichment Catalog below. The Winter 2023 Enrichment Catalog will be shared with families during the second week of November. The Spring 2023 Enrichment Catalog will be shared with families during the second week of February.
