David Saunders, Brookwood’s Director of Innovation, Changemaking, and Technology was invited to present at the National Association of Independent Schools’ (NAIS) annual conference, Cultivating Community, at the end of February in Nevada. He will be presenting on the topic of how schools can develop meaningful programming that not only teaches students in theory the skills and understanding that will allow them to become agents of positive change in their community and world, and also provides them with tangible opportunities to do so. He will outline the initiatives at Brookwood that use Design Thinking, Making, and Project Based Learning to make what it means to become a Changemaker explicit for students, faculty, and community members.
