Welcome to Grandparents’ and Special Friends’ Day!

Brookwood School
One Brookwood Road
Manchester, MA 01944
Schedule:
9:00 a.m.: Registration will open in our front lobby. We ask that guests not arrive ahead of time, this ensures all of our students can arrive at school and to their classrooms without disruption.
Grandparents and Special Friends’ will be given a folder with their student’s schedule for the day.
We will have staff on hand to escort our guests to the correct locations.
9:30 - 10:00 a.m.- Block One
10:00 - 10:30 a.m. - Block Two
10:30 a.m. - Guests are invited to join leaders of the school for refreshments. Students will return to their homerooms.
11:00 a.m. - Guests to the School Meeting House for a special assembly.
12:00 p.m. - Dismissal. Students will be dismissed to homerooms from the School Meeting House. Grandparents and Special Friends may pick up students in homerooms after the assembly.
Parking:
There are several handicap spaces available at both our upper and lower school entrances. The courtyard, as well as our upper and lower lots will be open for parking. Event parking can be tight here at Brookwood, if Grandparents and Special Friends are able to be dropped off at 9:00 a.m., that would be helpful.
Health and Safety:
Our community’s health is of utmost importance. In coordination with Brookwood’s health and safety protocols we ask that if you or anyone in your household feel unwell or are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, to please stay home.
In addition, due to the size and scope of this much anticipated event, we ask that parents refrain from entering the building on this day. In order to ensure the safety of students, faculty, staff, and guests, we are requiring that all guests wear proper facial coverings while indoors.
