Grandparents’ and Special Friend’s Day

Schedule:
8:30 a.m. Registration in Lobby, Coffee and Refreshments for guests in School Meeting House
9:00 a.m. Remarks with Head of School, Jon Bartlett in School Meeting House
9:15 a.m. Block one in classrooms/ specials
10:00 a.m. Block two in classrooms/ specials
10:45 a.m. Break: Students return to homeroom/ advisor for snacks & Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ to School Meeting House
11:00 a.m. School Meeting (click here to watch the livestream)
11:45 p.m. Students will be dismissed to homerooms from the School Meeting House.
Grandparents may pick students up in homerooms after the assembly.
12:15 p.m. Dismissal for anyone not being picked up by a grandparent / special friend
Student Dismissal:
Note that no aftercare or bus service is provided. Please let your homeroom teacher know if there are any changes to your dismissal plan.
Parking:
Event parking is tight here at Brookwood, if Grandparents and Special Friends are able to be dropped off at 8:30 a.m., that would be helpful. There are several handicap spaces available at both our upper and lower school entrances. The courtyard, as well as our upper and lower lots will be open for parking for our special guests.
