Lower School Updates from Moira Smith

Arrival

Beginning on Tuesday and moving forwards, drop off for everyone is 8:05-8:20 a.m.. If you are the very first person to come down Dan Wise Way and find that the white gate at the start of DWW is still closed, please jump out and open it. It's not locked! The first car should enjoy the beautiful curving drive to the green gate by the stone bridge, just before the building. Stop there, and wait for a wave from our greeting crew at 8:05 a.m.

Dismissal

Lower School students will be dismissed through Dan Wise Way at 3:00 p.m. Please be sure to have your name placard easily visible to Jeff Wilfahrt as he calls each name through the walkie talkie into classrooms. Our employees cannot be in charge of buckling young children, so once your car is loaded please pull forward into a parking space or the wood chips to buckle. Dan Wise Way is only one lane, so please wait patiently in line if the car in front of you needs an extra moment to load.

On Fridays, Lower School children with Upper School siblings who are leaving at 3:00 p.m. will be grouped as "crossovers" and will head to the courtyard for dismissal. They will be seated in the main lobby and will be brought out to your car as you pull around.
