A huge thank you to the 75 or so Brookwood folks that attended Friendly Feud Trivia Night at Riversbend Restaurant in Essex. Lindsay and Curt Bergeron once again opened their hearts and restaurant to BWD and generously hosted us all at Riversbend providing amazing pizza, salad, and apps. Rounding out the delicious meal, Daniella Mammola supplied a veritable mountain of incredible cookies from her eponymous cafe. In true Brookwood fashion, the evening was buoyed by the incredible spirit this community embodies, and MC Chris Culkeen kept the Friendly Feud rolling with some surprisingly raucous competition. (Don’t even get us started on the “Food with Sauces” controversy!!!) Check out more photos in Vidigami under "Parent Events."
Give yourselves a huge round of applause. This evening and the advance raffle ticket sales raised over $3000 to support the PA Faculty Wishlist and Faculty Grant programs!!! This incredible showing of community spirit and generosity will provide meaningful resources for our childrens’ classrooms and help fund grants to enhance our faculty’s experience, knowledge, and continuing education.
We hope to do it all over again soon and see you all there!
Also, PIZZA is not a food with a sauce! There, I said it…
