In the fall, we offered our first ever Parents’ Night Out, which was a super fun, “late-over” event for students. We are still debating who had more fun: the kids, the After School staff, or the parents who were able to go out and enjoy a child-free evening!
We are thrilled to be offering this opportunity again this year. On Friday, April 21st, from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m., students can join us for dinner (hotdogs & sides), a special dessert, and fun activities, all related to the evening’s theme: camping. We’ll once again end the evening with a massive dance party! While we’re with the kids, parents are encouraged to meet up with friends, go on a date night, or do anything that is more enjoyable sans-children.
The cost of this service will be $50 for the first child in the family and $25 for each additional child. You can sign your child(ren) up for this special event through the link below, which will secure your child a spot. Please submit a Google Form for each of your children so we can get an accurate count. To ensure high-quality supervision and a safe teacher-to-student ratio, enrollment for this event will be capped at 50 students. Due to the limited number of spots available, registration will be finalized upon the submission of the enrollment form; once you sign up, you will be financially responsible for the fee, even if your child doesn't attend. Thank you for your understanding. As a heads up, registration filled up quickly last time. Families are encouraged to sign up promptly in an effort to secure a spot.
You’re welcome to bring your child(ren) to the lobby at 5:30 for this event, or you can add them to our After School list that day so that you have coverage from 3:00 - 8:00 PM. The After School drop in rate will apply to the 3:00 - 5:30 time frame if your child(ren) isn’t regularly enrolled on Fridays. The program fee outlined above will cover the 5:30 - 8:00 portion of the evening. You can indicate your plan within the sign up form below.
If you have any questions about this program, please reach out to Kyla McMahon, Director of Auxiliary Programs.
PS - Feel free to send your child in PJs or cozy clothes! If students are coming right from school, they are welcome to change if they have pajamas in their bag.
