Halloween is just around the corner! Save the date for our Halloween Parade on the Courtyard: October 29 at 9:00 a.m. with coffee and treats for parents/guardians beforehand.
This is a cherished holiday for our imaginative young ones. Children are welcome to wear a costume to school for the day to celebrate on Friday the 29th. Also, each Lower School class will celebrate in various ways, so keep an eye out for details from your child's teachers.
As you and your child pull together the pieces of their Halloween costume, please keep a critical eye towards inclusivity and kindness. Sometimes costume ideas are a great opportunity to engage in an age-appropriate conversation about stereotypes. We also ask that you avoid costumes that are violent or scary, and please leave weapons, sticks, and Halloween masks at home for the day. Of course cloth face masks are a must indoors!
