Pokémon Cards

Here at Brookwood, seeing our students have fun, discover talents and passions, and socially interact with one another is a highlight of the work we do. Playing with, sharing, and trading Pokémon cards, does get at some of these goals. We have found that this game also can exclude children, cause heated disputes over unfair trades, and take away from the academic and enrichment opportunities we aim to provide each day. For these reasons, we do not allow Pokémon cards at Brookwood, including during the academic school day, during Early Birds, or during After School. To remove the temptation, we ask that you do not send your student(s) to school with Pokémon cards. Thank you for your partnership in enforcing this policy with your child(ren).
