Mike Wellington will be out following Spring Break and will return to Brookwood in September for the 2022-23 school year. When he comes back in the fall, he has made the decision to return solely as a Physical Education Teacher, rather than as both Athletic Director and Physical Education Teacher.
This spring, Bill Schneider will take over Mike’s Physical Education classes, with the help of a long-term substitute. Coach Wellington has been working to orchestrate Spring Athletics and they will still continue as planned. We will share more information regarding Spring Athletics in the next few weeks.
While spring will not be the same without Coach Welly, we are grateful he can be with his family at this time.
