It is with great excitement that we share with you: (1) more information regarding the formatting of Summer @ Brookwood and (2) when registration will launch.
Session 1: Tues., June 20th - Fri., June 30th:
As we mentioned in our initial summer announcement, our first camp session will be a 9-day session from Tuesday, June 20th - Friday, June 30th. The format of these two weeks will be a traditional Day Camp. This will be a high-quality program in which students rotate through activities in our school building and on our campus. Some of these stations will be specialized activities staffed by our talented Brookwood team members; others will be more play-based stations staffed by camp counselors. We’re also planning a special birthday party event for our beloved heron mascot!
Session 1 - Important Details to Note:
Early Childhood students through rising 6th graders can participate in this program as campers. Rising 7th through rising 9th graders are welcomed to participate in our leadership program, which will be a mix of counselor-in-training (CIT) work and fun, team-building and personal growth activities under the mentorship of a teen leadership coordinator.
With the exception of EC and K students, this will be a full-day program only, running from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. EC / K students are welcome to enroll for a half-day only, with a dismissal at 11:45, or for the full day. All students are also welcome to join us for morning or afternoon extended day options, from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Families will need to provide lunch for their students, which we will store in our walk-in refrigerator to maintain safe temperatures.
We will provide a snack each morning and a popsicle each afternoon.
Session 2 (Mon. 7/10 - Fri. 7/14),
Session 3 (Mon. 7/17 - Fri. 7/21), &
Session 4 (Mon. 7/24 - Fri. 7/28)
Camp will pause after our 9-day Day Camp session in June for the 4th of July holiday. When we resume in July, the format will change to a combination of specialty camps / clinics. These three weeks will each consist of morning and afternoon half-day programs for EC - rising 9th grade students, which can be combined to create full-day care for your child(ren). These will be high-quality programs from local and national companies and individuals. We are still finalizing our partners, but please know we are designing the weeks to have diverse offerings appealing to the varied interests of students, including the arts, STEM, and sports.
Session 2, 3, and 4 - Important Details to Note:
Our morning sessions will run from 9:00 - 11:45 a.m. Our afternoon sessions will run from 12:15 - 3:00 p.m. Families are welcome to do just a morning session, just an afternoon session, or both! Students staying through the day will have a lunch block from 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
During these three weeks, we will continue to offer extended day options from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Families will need to provide lunch for their students, which we will store in our walk-in refrigerator to maintain safe temperatures.
We will provide a snack each morning and a popsicle each afternoon.

Drum roll, please! Registration for all of the above programs will launch on our website at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13th. There will be enrollment constrictions to ensure safe camp ratios, so families are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
