Please review the updated guidance below for those who a.) test positive for COVID-19 and b.) are considered a close contact to someone who tests positive for COVID-19.
Isolation (If you test positive, regardless of vaccination status):
The date of your positive test is day “0”
Isolate for 5 days (stay home)
If you have no symptoms, or your symptoms are notably resolving AND you are fever free for 24 hours (without the use of fever reducing medication), you can leave your house and return to school on day 6.
You must continue to wear a mask around others through day 10 at all times on campus; this means masking indoors and outdoors.
Student athletes will not to return to play through day 10
Students in chorus will not participate in chorus through day 10
Students in private music lessons involving singing and wind instruments will not participate through day 10
Exposure (if you are a close contact):
Unvaccinated individuals who are exposed to COVID-19, and vaccinated people who are eligible for a booster but have not yet received a booster who are exposed to COVID-19 will need to follow quarantine guidelines.
If you are unvaccinated OR have not yet received your booster if eligible with an out of school exposure:
The date of your exposure is day “0”
Monitor for symptoms and test immediately you develop any
Quarantine for 5 days (at home)
Recommend PCR test on day 5
Antigen test if unable to obtain PCR
Return to school on day 6 with a negative test result
You must continue to wear a mask around others through day 10 at all times on campus; this means masking indoors and outdoors.
If you are fully vaccinated, and if eligible, have had a booster with an out of school exposure:
The date of your exposure is day “0”
Monitor for symptoms and test immediately if you develop any
You do NOT have to quarantine; you can come to school
Recommend PCR test on day 5
Antigen test if unable to obtain PCR
Wear a mask for 10 days
If you are exposed to someone with COVID-19 AT SCHOOL (<3 ft masked or <6’ unmasked for 15 minutes):
If you are fully vaccinated, and if eligible, have had a booster with an in-school exposure:
You are exempt from quarantining
Monitor for symptoms and test immediately you develop any
If you are unvaccinated OR have not yet received your booster if eligible with an in-school exposure:
The day of exposure is day “0”
Option A: Test and Stay
Rapid antigen in school at the start of school day through day 5
Monitor for symptoms and test immediately if you develop any
You must continue to wear a mask around others through day 10 at all times on campus; this means masking indoors and outdoors.
Option B: Quarantine at home for 5 days
The date of your exposure is day “0”
Monitor for symptoms and test immediately you develop any
Quarantine for 5 days (at home)
Recommend PCR test on day 5

Return to school on day 6 with a negative test result
