Upper School Update from Dave Samson

Dear Upper School Parents and Guardians,

After a great week of Brookwood employees coming together and preparing for next week, we are excited for the students! Before we head off into the weekend, I wanted to share some reminders about what to bring next Wednesday.

Bring the first week of school:	Leave at Home:
*Water bottle with your name on it	​x Binders and notebooks (we provide them!)
*Nutritious morning & afternoon snack	x Candy, soda, or chewing gum
*Book bag/Backpack to take school materials home	x Cell Phones and/or smart watches
​*Gr. 6 & 8 should pack athletic clothing for afternoon athletic activities. (tryouts aren’t until September 12	​x Soccer & Field Hockey equipment for Fall sports can wait until the week of September 12.
*Gr. 7- Packed for Camp Caribou!
*Come dressed in Dress Code (except for Gr. 7 heading to Camp Caribou)
*Summer Reading Books and Math Packets
*Writing Utensils (pencils & pens)

We look forward to welcoming new families at Orientation on Tuesday and the Opening of School on Wednesday.
