Head of Lower School Announcement

After 13 years of innovative, child-centered, and steadfast dedication to students and our school community, Moira Smith has decided that this will be her last school year at Brookwood. In the summer, Moira, her husband, and their children, plan to relocate to Pennsylvania to live and work close to their large and extended family.

I am sure this news will come as a surprise to you, as it did me, but I am both excited for Moira and her family as they embark on this new adventure, while also sad that we will be losing Moira and her lovely family. Please join me in wishing Moira all the very best as she prepares for this exciting move. In the meantime, we are thrilled we will benefit from her excellent leadership for the rest of this year.

We will begin to advertise and recruit for the next Head of the Lower School in the coming days and will keep you apprised of any updates over the course of the year.
