It’s hard to believe winter break is right around the corner. Everyone on the PA team would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best over the holidays and in the coming year and remind us all to take a beat now and again and appreciate the moments of magic that make this season, school break, and time with our families and loved ones so special.
School Store: Just in time to put the perfect gift under the holiday tree and bedeck your family and friends in Brookwood swag, we’d like to remind you that the school store is available online! Orders placed by 8 pm on Weds the 14th will be billed to your school account and sent home with your child on Thursday. The bags will be stapled shut so your kiddos can’t peak! You will receive an email confirmation of your order to assure accuracy and availability. Please note that the emails are done manually and not as an automated process.

Back by popular demand, the 3rd annual PA Cooking Class is right around the corner. Learn new recipes, techniques, and get your kids in on the action. Fun for the whole family! Stay tuned for more tasty details.

Clinical psychologist Dr. Kaitlin Wilbur-Smith will join us to lead a discussion entitled "It's Time to Time In: Supporting Mental Health in Early and Middle Childhood.” Dr. Wilbur-Smith’s presentation is especially timely as focus on the importance of mental health continues to make headlines. As parents, this talk is one not to miss, so mark your calendars! (Huge thanks to Jean Skaane, Wellness Coordinator, and PA Parent Education and Wellness Committee for coordinating).
Brookwood on Ice
February 5, 2023; 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
After a two year absence, a time honored and much loved school tradition returns in ‘23. This event is a free skate for all BWD families of all ability levels at the Pingree School ice rink. Ice averse? Swing by for a hot cocoa, sweet treat, and a chance to chat with fellow parents!
